My Favorite Makeup Brushes… In Blue of course.

When it comes to makeup application, having good makeup brushes is a must. The quality of your brushes can really determine the outcome of your look.

One of my favorite purchases from the recent Black Friday was the Luxie Dreamcatcher Brush Set. I’ve wanted these brushes for a while and Black Friday was the perfect opportunity to purchase them. I was able to get them for $70 which I felt was a really good price considering that they’re usually over $100.

Before I bought the brushes I did a lot of research on different brush sets and decided that these were the set I wanted. Being that they are a bit on the expensive side, I wanted to make sure I was making a good purchase and turns out I was!

Firstly, the brushes came in such a beautiful package that I didn’t want to take them out. Anyone who knows me knows how much I love the color blue so the fact that these brushes came in such a gorgeous color made me super psyched. It’s like a Periwinkle blue and it’s amazing. The brushes also come inside of a case, like a cup holder, in the same blue color.

I find the case really useful for storage as well. The bottom holds the brushes and the top covers them up with buttons on the side to snap everything in place.

The set comes with 15 brushes, everything you’d need for makeup application. Something that I really love about this set is that it has labels on each brush to tell you what it is. This is perfect for beginners, or anyone really, who wants to make sure they’ve got the right brush in hand.

These brushes are also hypoallergenic which is perfect for those with sensitive skin. My skin breaks out really easily so having brushes that can help me avoid breakouts is really helpful. The brushes also feel amazing against my skin.

It’s almost like someone took feathers and lightly brushed them against my skin. And they’re vegan which is a huge plus for me!

All in all, the brushes are amazing. Definitely, a worthwhile purchase and I would totally recommend them.

Luxie Beauty also has brush cleaning wipes that you can order separately. This is really handy for when you’re on the run or don’t have access to soap and water for a deep clean. They work really well and also help to sanitize and keep them fresh for reuse.

For all of my makeup lovers, or even those who want a good makeup brush set to start off with? These are at the top of my list.
